THE COMMUNITY CHALLENGE
CHARTER AND PACT MEMBERS
As of July 22 the Center has 309 Charter Members and 71 PACT Members for a total contributed of $171,000!
(Charter Members are those who contribute $250 or over; PACT – Performing Arts Center Team Members contribute up to $249.)

The goal is to have 1,000 Members by year’s end. Both groups will be permanently recognized in the completed Performing Arts Center.

KNOCKDOWN CELEBRATION!
Help us celebrate the demolition of the Johns and Clemons Buildings on the future site of the Florida Center for Performing Arts and Education. Join us for knockdown festivities on Friday, September 5 from 6 until 10 p.m. at the Capital City Bank Downtown GetDown benefiting United Way of the Big Bend and the Performing Arts Center. We hope to see you there!

PERFORMING ARTS “PREVIEWS”
A series of fun(d)-raising membership gatherings are being scheduled to provide an opportunity to learn more about The Florida Center and become part of “something remarkable” in Florida’s Capital City. Over two dozen events have been scheduled. Won’t you host a Preview for your friends? Interested? Contact: Rebecca Mackay (or) Nan Nagy.

CAMPAIGN DIRECTOR
FOR THE FLORIDA CENTER

Since March, Margaret Lynn Duggar has chaired a citizen’s committee comprised of Lester Abberger, Peggy Brady, Sue Dick, Everitt Drew, Paula Fortunas, Jessica Jackson, and Bob Inzer with Beth Corum as HR Consultant, to advertise, recruit, interview, and recommend a Campaign Director for The Florida Center. The Committee expects to bring forward a recommendation to the Board of Directors at their August 6 meeting --- stay tuned!
